IMPM – an alternative to the MBA

The viewpoints of McGill’s Henry Mintzberg are supported by Harry Costin who says that the distinction between business and management as outlined by Mintzberg is useful.  Leadership and management cannot be taught by a professor.  If you want to have employees and people follow you, you need to improve your practice of managing.  One way to do this is by sharing experiences with others who are also managers – something done in the IMPM.
