‘Managing’, written by IMPM co-founder Henry Mintzberg, was named last night as the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Management Book of the Year, at an awards ceremony hosted by the British Library. The Management Book of the Year competition is run by CMI in association with the British Library.
The competition seeks to uncover the UK’s best books on management and leadership and raise the profile of the great management writing published or distributed in the UK.
Henry Mintzberg is Professor of Management Studies at McGill University in Montreal and one of the founders of IMPM. Mintzberg’s book won the competition from a field of 145 entries, triumphing over a shortlist of 15 prolific business and management authors.
