After many years of dedicated service Colette Web has moved on to take up the post as administrator of the Confucius Institute at Lancaster University. We will miss her dearly and wish her all the success she can possibly have in her new adventure.
Professor Lucas D. Introna takes over as the new Academic Chair of the IMPM and Dora Koop becomes Managing Director. Professor Lucas D. Introna is Professor of Organisation, Technology and Ethics and Associate Dean for Research at Lancaster University Management School, typically ranked in the UK’s top four and among the world’s highly ranked management and business schools. He is Co-Editor of Ethics and Information Technology and has been Associate Editor for many world leading journals such as MISQ and Information Systems Research and has been involved in executive education for more than 20 years. As the new Academic chair of the IMPM, Lucas’ interest is to continue to explore ways in which senior managers learn collaboratively by gaining access to their extensive experience through an ongoing critical reflective practice.
Dora Koop, will lead the business development function. Dora, is a lawyer with an MBA from McGill University and Corporate Director certification. Most recently she has been responsible for the leadership and governance programs at McGill University, ranked 1st in Canada among medical-doctoral universities and 17th in the world (QS World University Rankings 2011).
